Poetry Event featuring Emma Ofosua

Sunday 21 August Labyrinth organises a special poetry event featuring: Emma Ofosua, the freestyle poet who delivers her work in a unique style. Emma is on tour through Europe and tonight you have the chance to meet and hear her work at Labyrinth. And after there is space for you to join the mic as well.

Emma Ofosua is a Ghanaian born and raised creative entrepreneur/poet and organizer of the “All African Women Poetry Festival” She is the author of her debut “I wish you courage in the night season”, a memoire-like poetry collection that pores over the pain and confusion caused by identity crisis, fear of fear and anxiety, in a relatable and practical way. The compilation attempts to provide some insights into some of life’s quintessential paradoxes; What is the meaning of life? Why death? Why domestic violence, and many more. It also includes some self development tools that are guaranteed to help anyone navigating a night season.

Time: 7 pm

Entrance is free but a cash donation for the artist is very welcome.
