Labyrinth Poetry Night: Walking into things

Join us for a new edition of Labyrinth Poetry Night on Sunday 31 May 🌿This month’s theme: Walking into things: obstacles in life

Some phrases sound perfectly normal… until you translate them.
The very normal question your Dutch boss will ask you “Waar loop je tegen aan’”, in English conjures up images of  literally walking into trees
, doors and pesky bike lane posts. They were in the way and now you’re injured. Ouch…. How? Why? What to do about it? The real obstacles — emotional, practical, unexpected?

Four powerful poets and your host Paula Breuning will take the stage to explore just that. Expect stories of frustration, resilience, absurdity, and maybe even the art of laughing it off.
