Labyrinth Poetry Night

Every day we wake up to seemingly endless disasters;: wars waged, forests burned, rights overturned. And yet life goes on. How do we make sense of the world and still find out place in it? Where are we now, and were are we going. Join us coming Sunday as we use poetry & music to explore the State of Things.
Poet Jackie Ashkin is hosting this Labyrinth Poetry Night:
Line Up:
-Spoken Word Artist Geoffrey van der Ven
Geoffrey is a Dutch-Nigerian spoken word artist with a focus on BIPOC and LGBTIQ+ stories we don’t hear anywhere else.
-Musician Jedrzej Jedraszyk is a Leiden-based guitarist who finds inspiration in escaping into nature, looking for tranquility.
Story teller Jackie Ashkin is enamored with stories and what they can tell us about each other. Malaysian/American, her writing incorporates life lived between and across cultures.

Practicalities/ FAQ:
– Reserve your tickets/seats directly under reservations: www.labyrinthamsterdam.nl
– Ticket price is 7.50 euro p.p., and the revenue goes to the artists.
-Limited seats are available, full=full
-Entrance is at 7 pm the latest, but for guaranteed best seats come in at 6 pm, and you will help a smooth service for staff, when not arriving all at 7 pm. Thank you for taking this in consideration.
-We don’t accept groups bigger than 6 persons, as bigger groups tend to be less attentive.
-The event will be hosted in English
